Determining delivery quantities
We have a selection of varied concepts which have proven themselves when it comes to finding the most suitable delivery capacity:
1. Step-by-step control
1.1. Intermittent control
Compressor control depends on the upper and lower pressure switching point (ON / OFF).
1.2 Valve lifting
Raising the suction valves prevents closure of the valve, and compression cannot take place. The suctioned gas is forced back into the suction line.
1.3 A combination of intermittent control and valve lifting
The suction valves are raised and the compressor runs in idle mode when the pressure switching point is reached. The compressor system is deactivated if the pressure does not sink below the lower pressure switching point after a specified period of time.

2. Infinitely variable control
2.1 Speed control
The nominal speed of the DC motor is adapted by a frequency converter, enabling control of the delivery capacity to suit consumption needs. The energy required is thus adapted to suit gas consumption.
2.2 Bypass control
The delivery capacity which is not required is guided from the pressure side to the suction side via a bypass through the action of a control valve. The control valve (electrical/pneumatic) regulates the quantity relative to the set suction or final pressure.
2.3 Recirculating control
Each suction valve is fitted with a lifting mechanism in this process. The closing procedure is delayed so that a variable quantity of gas flows back from the compression chamber into the suction chamber before the actual compression commences. This system allows infinitely variable adaptation of the compressor delivery capacity to suit the gas supply or gas consumption.
