Nitrogen with solvent compressor for Denmark

The dry cylinder Mehrer compressor package type TVE400/310-K110Ex was designed and executed for compression of N2 containing almost totally saturated organic solvents. The compressor is suitable for safe operation in ex-zone 1 according to ATEX 95.

The volume flow is regulated through a combination of a frequency controlled speed regulation and a bypass regulation system, where residual volume is fed back to the suction side. The bypass volume control valve is electrical – pneumatically controlled for capacity between 0 – 100%. The discharge temperature is furthermore kept stable even at different volume flows and suction temperatures. This is done with a special electro - pneumatic bypass control valve, which can control the fixed temperature by mixing a warm and cold gas flows together.
