Focus of your activity

We develop compressor systems for a wide variety of gases and areas of application. Estimating the real costs plays a decisive role in the design of these systems. Within the scope of this work, a thermo-economic model for compressor systems is to be created, which connects customer requirements, thermodynamic process schemes (flow diagram) with costs for components and operating costs. In this way, statements can be made about the manufacturing and operating costs of the system in question in the early design phase.

Your profile

  • You are a student of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related subjects and enjoy reconciling economic factors, customer requirements and technical tasks.
  • You enjoy working across disciplines. You know terms such as cash value calculation, operating costs, manufacturing costs or are ready to familiarize yourself with this matter. You work independently and are able to independently acquire knowledge and familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility. In this project you will learn to combine profitability calculations in connection with technical requirements in the early offer phase and to derive decisions for the later course of the project based on these results.
  • You communicate in German and English and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams.
