In a hydroelectric power plant, water is lifted into the store by an electric pump. The stored water is then used again to drive the turbine to generate electricity. For a relieved start of the electric pump, the excess water must be blown out of the pump room using compressed air. A TVZ 900 is used for the application, which compresses atmospheric air to 36 bara.
