In order that fueling of fuel cell vehicles (tank pressures of 350 bar for buses, trucks, industrial trucks or 700 bar for cars) can be carried out quickly and efficiently, hydrogen is cascaded from buffer stores of different pressure levels. Mehrer Membrane compressor systems guarantee the constant filling of the buffer storage and thus form an elementary link in the refueling process.

Mehrer diaphragm compressors form the core component between the supplied hydrogen and a refuelling system for fuel cell buses.
Due to the pressure difference between the storage banks of the filling station and the bus tank, refueling takes place by overflowing the hydrogen. In order to achieve high refueling speeds, the interaction of the various storage tanks and the compressor is crucial.
