Our customer EnviTec relied on the oil-free compressor TRE 400 to feed biogas into the natural gas network for use as a more climate-friendly fuel.

By generating biogas from the fermentation of biomass, waste is converted into energy. In order to feed this biogas into the gas grid, the proportion of methane must be increased to the level of natural gas. Our reciprocating compressor TRE 400 increases the pressure from the input pressure generated by the biogas processing to the required feed pressure into the gas network.
